Smith & Co. Jewelers is a full-service firm offering fine quality, service and unique design affordably. The goal of our personable, professional staff is to help customers’ dreams come true, expanding possibilities into reality.
Our trained, professional staff has a combined total of over 50 years of service to the customer. We have made a long-term commitment to education, continual training and daily improvement.
Tim Smith is credentialed as a Certified Gemologist of the American Gem Society, a title which must be re-attained each year. He has also been named a Certified Professional by Jewelers of America. As such, he is qualified to grade and appraise all gemstones, and to make informed recommendations to help guide you through every step of your jewelry purchase.
Our History
Smith & Co. Jewelers was founded in 1990 when Tim Smith — who previously served for 17 years at his parents’ firm (Daniel E. Smith Jeweler of Salem, Ohio) — purchased Menaldi Jewelers, then located in the Boardman Plaza.
Tim set out to create a new kind of jewelry store, collecting designers and placing them in a contemporary environment never before seen in the Mahoning Valley. In the course of the last decade, Smith & Co. has become the Mahoning Valley’s true Engagement and Wedding Ring Expert — combining talent from the designer world, extensive resources to increase value, and a variety of other tools to enable the Extraordinary to become Affordable.
Smith & Co. clients are represented by a broad range of ages and tastes, but all benefit from the same great design and quality service provided by our talented staff.
